SkillsFit

Alternative Provision & Targeted Intervention Helping Young People to Reset, Re-engage and Move Forward!

SkillsFit partners with schools, commissioners and youth-focused organisations to support 11–19 year olds at risk of exclusion, disengagement or becoming NEET.
Through sport, fitness, wellbeing and personal development, we help young people rebuild confidence, routine and readiness for positive next steps.

An Introduction to SkillsFit

SkillsFit was created out of genuine recognition of the challenges young people face; from SEMH barriers and disengagement to low confidence, disrupted routines and not yet finding their place.

We provide Alternative Provision, Targeted On-Site Intervention Programmes and NEET Engagement Projects that give young people access to trusted spaces, positive relationships and practical opportunities to move forward.

For schools, commisioners and youth-focused partners, SkillsFit offers safe, sturctured and purposefu; provision with clear safeguarding, high-quality delivery and measurable impact.

The SkillsFit Dual-Entity

SkillsFit is a purpose-led alternative provision and engagement service supporting young people who are disengaged, struggling with attendance, or navigating challenges relating to SEMH and confidence.

SkillsFit exists in two entities. Where the aims of
each might differ slightly, the mission remains the
same.

SkillsFit CIC

Our not-for-profit community interest arm focused on social impact, funded projects and targeted work with disadvantaged 11–19 year olds. The CIC enables us to widen our reach, reduce barriers, and deliver programmes that meet the needs of learners who may not yet have found their fit.

SkillsFit Training & Education Ltd

Our commissioning-facing organisation, securing partnership arrangements for high-quality, flexible provision with schools, colleges and local authorities, including Alternative Provision, on-site intervention & mentoring, NEET engagement and reintegration support.

One SkillsFit Mission

To support 11 to 19 year olds to build confidence and develop the knowledge, skills & behaviours needed for re-engagement or progression into education, training or employment.
Whether improving attendance and engagement, strengthening SEMH, or preparing for next steps, our provision is designed around purposeful progress and real-world readiness.
